Programmable unitary operations for orbital angular momentum encoded states

We have proposed and demonstrated a scalable efficient scheme for programmable unitary operations in orbital angular momentum (OAM) domain. Based on matrix decomposition into diagonal Fourier factors, arbitrary operators can be implemented only by matrices alternately acting domain azimuthal angle domain, which are linked transform. With numerical simulations, with dimensionality of 3*3 designed discussed OAM Meanwhile, the parallelism our is also presented two matrices. Furthermore, as an alternative to verify proposal, proof principle experiments been performed path same method, average fidelity 0.97 evaluated through 80 experimental results 3*3.
